Our Staff

	Tina Tina is a bay area native and a dedicated fan of the SF Giants! Born and raised in Contra Costa County, she was inspired to serve her community at an early age and began teaching at a day care center and worked her way up the ladder. Determined to make a difference in other areas of care, she shifted her focus and proudly began working at a corporate concierge work/life company and became their Director of Operations. She has more than twenty years of management experience. She is responsible for recruiting, training, and managing all of our tutors at College Nannies+Tutors Danville-LaMorinda. Tina is dedicated to providing the highest quality service. She is a problem solver and expert at finding the best tutor solution for her students’ needs.
	Dave Dave has many years of small and start-up business experience. He has started, owned and built businesses as diverse as home construction to alternate energy technology. He has a bent for all things mechanical, and is passionate about California K-12 schooling. Dave has called the Diablo Valley his home for 4 decades—he went to high school in Lafayette, college at Stanford and has raised his three successful children in homes throughout the Valley. Through College Nannies & Tutors, Dave hopes to do his small part to bring California K-12 education into the 21st century.
	Shelley A Bay Area native, Shelley has called Diablo Valley her home since marriage to Dave in 1977. A graduate of the University of California at Davis, Shelley has based her business exploits and raised her three successful children exclusively in the Valley. She has professional skils in customer service, Real Estate brokerage and in the printing and graphic arts industries. Years on technical support desks have honed her listening skills and helped tap a deep well of patience. For fun and relaxation Shelley sings with award-winning a cappella groups
	Christine Christine graduated from California State University East Bay with her Bachelor of Arts Degree in English, Linguistics. She started working as a nanny with College Nannies & Tutors, Danville when the franchise first opened in the summer of 2009. After completing her undergraduate studies, Christine took on the Nanny Placement Manager position full-time. She absolutely loves her job and adores each of her colleagues--CNT Danville has a great team and is a fantastic place to work. Christine currently manages all of the Danville/Lamorinda nannies and works hard to keep all of the placement families feeling happy and appreciated.

Terese Hi! My name is Terese and I have a lot of experience watching over children and working with adolescents. I live in Danville and have a lot of friends with children of all ages that I spend a lot of time with. I teach Faith Formation this year for a 3rd grade class at St. Augustine's in Pleasanton. I have three beautiful nieces ages 10, 8 and 3 and 5 godchildren ages 1-5. I also have experience with children with disabilities including Down syndrome and Rett syndrome. I have time in the summer to spend with children and time after school during the school year as I work as a high school counselor. We will have a lot of fun together!

Anya Anya Parker is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Child Development with an emphasis on Early Childhood. Anya recently moved to the Bay Area from Washington State and is eagerly discovering new things about the gorgeous area daily. Anya is a child at heart and really enjoys the sunny disposition that children possess. She loves outdoor activities such as nature walks and trips to the park. Anya could play freeze-tag endlessly for hours if only she didn’t have to devote her free time to homework. Anya grew up in a very loving and supportive household and knows how important a stable home environment is for a child because of this; she believes all children have the right to grow up to be well-rounded individuals. Anya has fostered her passion for the well-being of children by nannying for a few local Bay Area families, and choosing to a pursue a career in childcare.

Michael Michael is a student at the University of California, Berkeley, double-majoring in (big breath here) Cognitive Science and Molecular and Cell Biology with a concentration in Neurobiology, with long-range sights on Med school. He’s an outstanding student, with impressive grade point average and a perfect 800 score on the mathematics portion of his SAT. Mike’s best subjects, as one might imagine, are Math (through multivariable calculus and beyond) and Science. He enjoys teaching, and learning from Wolfram Research’s Mathematica software. A self-proclaimed “Math/Science nerd” Mike rounds out his academic resume by having spent his entire high school career, and 2 summers since, tutoring in “Study Buddy” and “Summer Buddies” programs. Outside of school, Michael has learned to be dedicated and hard-working through 8 years of competitive lacrosse and a myriad of menial jobs. Michael is a charismatic, enthusiastic and hard-working individual; and a pleasure to be around!
