Winter Break CAMP - 2012, at the Audobon Society of Portland for Grades 1-8

Have you ever wondered how the smallest birds handle the winter weather. Would you choose to have feathers or fur to survive harsh conditions? Journey within the Audubon Sanctuary as we explore the amazing and unique adaptations that animals use to cope with the harsh winter weather. We’ll scour the woods for animal burrows and dens, track the animals we can and end the day working with the Audubon specimens that will teach us the most about the wonderful world of winter animal survival.
