Susan
Hi, my name is Sue, and I'm the owner and managing director of College Nannies & Tutors of Princeton. Before I opened the Princeton office of College Nannies & Tutors, I worked in various industries: banking, insurance, pharmaceutical, educational assessments, and consulting. While working for these businesses, I performed a variety of roles. I’ve been an individual contributor as well as an executive director managing a staff of over a hundred people with budgets of $90 million. A little more than a year ago, I realized what I enjoyed most was the start up and creation of new departments and working in smaller, more intimate environments. I also wanted to do more to help busy families and at the same time stay involved in some way with education. College Nannies & Tutors has allowed me to do both – the perfect match. And that is what I want to do for all the families that use our services – find the perfect match for them whether it’s a nanny or a tutor - so that their childcare and education needs can be taken care of in the best way possible.

Jeanine
Hi, my name is Jeanine, and I'm a native of the island Trinidad. I migrated to the United States in 2002, where I lived in Jersey City, NJ with my mom. Two years later, I started my high school career at Marist High School in Bayonne, NJ. My junior year, I applied to 21 different colleges and was accepted to 20 schools and chose Rider University because of its great business school and its proximity to my mom.

I have 8 years of childcare experience and have taken care of infants through pre-teens. I would like to leave a lasting impression on all children's lives that I come in contact with, and I hope what really sticks with them are lessons such as being resilient and staying determined, sharing (give of yourself to others), the importance of empathizing and treating others with the same kindness and understanding that you expect,

At Rider, I will be graduating with my degree in Finance next fall. My aspirations in life are simple; to be a person that I am proud of and that others would be proud to follow.

Kristan
Hello All!

My name is Kristan and I am currently a senior at The College of New Jersey pursuing a career in History-Secondary education. For as long as I can remember my passion has been children. From the age of ten I have always enjoyed spending time with those who are younger than me because I feed off their energy and enthusiasm. Although I am currently taking classes to finish my History degree, I just completed a semester of student teaching at Millstone Middle School.

Other than teaching, I spend my time reading, writing, walking, cooking and rewatching films from the 80s. I am extroverted and thrive off of being around others. I am studious and love learning new things. One of my favorite ways to learn is by travelling to new places, which is something I hope to do this summer.

Miranda
Hi, my name is Miranda! My interests include everything outdoors (hiking, camping, climbing, cycling, trail-running, gardening), nutrition (cooking, eating, health), and spending time with my family. My experience in childcare goes back to babysitting in my teenage years for neighborhood children - I have cared for infants, children with special needs, and families with multiple children.

Educating our youth is my passion and I cannot see myself working in any other profession. I value children as both students and teachers; I learn something each day working with children.

I graduated Summa Cum Laude, 4.0 from Regis University, Denver, CO and was the recipient of the Excellence in Undergraduate Teacher Education Award at commencement and Golden Apple Award during student teaching.

I look forward to the opportunity to work with you and your children as both a nanny and a tutor!

Jolie
Hello everyone! My name is Jolie and I am very excited at the opportunity I have in College Nannies and Tutors. Currently, I'm studying psychology as a student at Raritan Valley Community College. I believe that in order to succeed in this field, one must be able to build and maintain relationships with all types of people. Being a nanny and tutor gives me that opportunity to make a positive difference in the life of a young one, as well as communicate with parents and teachers. I've provided childcare for several years and realize that all families function differently. It's an important skill to be able to adapt to new environments and parenting styles in order to maintain that consistency in a child's home life.

I love the playfulness of children and feel that after spending time with so many kids, their light heartedness has started to rub off on me. For example, I've become very good friends with one of the families I've babysat for. I try to attend the 8 year old's sports practices every week because I know he counts on seeing me there rooting him on from the stands! It's a pleasure to help out families especially on last minute basis where they really just need to find some peace of mind in their child's caregiver.

I look forward to serving your family!
