Lindsey
Lindsey was born with a passion and commitment to working with children and families. She attended Saint Mary's College of California for Education and Music with the intention of becoming a teacher, but also knew that there were many other ways to teach and guide children outside of the classroom. After 10 years of loyal and rewarding childcare experience, Lindsey believes it is her mission and purpose to own this College Nannies and Tutors location. She sees this as her opportunity to personally guide nannies and tutors to their fullest potential allowing them to be unforgettable role models in each child's life. Lindsey is thrilled that she has found a career that supports her passion and is excited for her continued work of strengthening and serving families.

Elissah
I am nineteen years old, born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. Grew up with one brother, two sisters, and two great parents; playing board games, going outside to play, riding bikes, and going to the zoo or aquarium were many things I did with them. I love to travel and go on road trips. Just recently moved to California via driving all the way from New Orleans! Currently not in school but attended LSU for 1 and 1/2 years. I studied animal science and plan on continuing my studies in the fall. I'm learning how to live on my own in the real world, and I'm getting a good taste of what the west coast is like. I'm excited to be working as a nanny for this great organization because I love kids and interacting with them!

Erin
I was born in Pleasanton California in 1992. I have a brother that is four years older than me, and two wonderful parents. I moved to Yokohama, Japan at the age of 2 because my father's job was transferred there, and we remained there for 2 1/2 years. After japan we moved back to Pleasanton and rescued two horses. I quickly learned to ride, and by the age of 5 was riding competativly. By the time I was 9 I owned my first pony, who I competed for years. Horses were my life growing up, and definitely made me the person I am today. In sixth grade my family moved to Tokyo Japan for a short 6 months because of my fathers Job. There I attended the American School in Japan. We again moved back to Pleasanton and purchased one more horse, and I successfully competed her for three years. Sadly I had to leave her behind when my father was again transferred across the world to Singapore for two years. There I attended Singapore American School and learned to be a fantastic student. We moved back to California in time for my senior year where I attended Monte Vista High School. My horse suffered a substantial injury when we arrived home so I decided to focus my senior year on volleyball. I still compete horses on the Xavier equestrian team, where I attend school, in Cincinnati Ohio. I study Management and Natural science, with the hopes of running a private practice someday as a pediatric surgeon or trauma surgeon. Other activities I enjoy are volleyball, swimming, soccer, and basketball, which are all sports I participated in during high school. I believe it is important to stay active, and I love showing kids that being active and having fun is the best thing for you!

Cheryl
My name is Cheryl currently attend Saint Mary's College of California studying Pre-medicine and Health Science. I went to Deer Valley High School and graduated in June 2011. I started tutoring my fellow peers in high school when I was a senior at Deer Valley through an academic walk-in tutoring club. I continued to tutor upon entering college specifically in the subjects of Spanish and Geometry. I volunteer at Delta One Martial Arts and I help the chief instructor teach his students ages 3-16. I've been volunteering there ever since 2001. People would describe me as caring, independent, self-sufficient, and responsible. I love working with kids! What I like to do for fun is train at the martial arts dojo, spend time with my family and friends, play piano and flute, and go outdoors to enjoy what mother nature has to offer us.

William
I am a life long philosopher. What I mean by that is I love wisdom and the process of gaining it. I was born in Phoenix , Az and moved to Tucson, Az when I was very young. My grandfather instilled into me a great sense of curiosity and inquisitiveness before I ever reached school; as he took me all over the Southwest and up to Canada on naturalist hikes and geological tours. These qualities did not abate once I entered school and I was placed into Gifted and Talented Education program in the first grade and was sent to a specialized school for only GATE children thereafter. During this time all the way up to high school I was involved in many sports varying from: flag football, Pee-Wee Football, Soccer, Basketball, and Swimming; as well as, Science Olympiad and MathCounts. While doing all of these activities as extracurricular activities through school, I was also a Cub Scout and Boy Scout; as well as, involved in an education-immersion program offered through, The Desert Museum. Once I enrolled in high school I earned the privilege of attending one of the best public schools in the nation, ranked 17th in the nation the year of my graduation. In high school I played rugby, swam, and played football. I was also involved in a Student Instructor program, where I assisted juniors in their preparation for the AP US history exam. Once I enrolled in Saint Mary's College of California, I was offered scholarships for both Honors at Enrollment; as well as, going through a screening process and being awarded the Presidential Scholarship for students with exceptional test scores, academic qualifications and character. I am a double major of Politics and Theology and Religious Studies as well as pursuing a minor in German. I have been on the Dean's list and am currently an officer and member of various on campus clubs, including SMC Law Club and SMC German Club, I am currently a Junior and will be graduating in the Spring of 2013.
