Brooke
Brooke

My name is Brooke Leavitt. I come from a small town in Nevada where I grew up on a 27 acre ranch. Growing up on a ranch, I learned how to be a hard worker and to not be afraid to get messy. I have two older brothers and an older sister, and lots of animal family members! I'm a huge animal lover. I love to spend time with family and be the best Aunt that I can be to my two nieces. My number one hobby has always been dancing. I love all styles, but Hip Hop and Jazz are my favorites. I love to listen to music, go on hikes, watch movies, and cooking.

I've worked with children of all ages for 11 years, and I absolutely love it. I am currently pursuing a degree in HDFS to become a Occupational Therapist. I hope to become certified in special education as well. Working with children has been my passion since I was old enough to have a job! I couldn't imagine having any other type of career.

Mallory
Mallory

I was born in Silver Spring, Maryland and spent my childhood days
having lunch by the White House and visiting the eastern shores with
my brother and sister. My parents and I moved to Reno when I was in
middle school, and although I miss my siblings, I love it here. I am
young at heart and genuinely enjoy spending time with and caring for
children. In my spare time, I love to spend time at the beaches in
Tahoe, rock climb at our local climbing gym, and foster animals who
need a temporary home at the Nevada Humane Society. I have a creative
mind and love arts and crafts as well as cooking and baking. Reading
and writing have always been passions of mine that I love to share
with the children I care for. As an influence of these interests, I am
working toward a bachelor's degree in secondary English education with
a minor in French education. My teaching philosophy is rooted in my
belief that an interest in learning comes from an understanding of why
we learn, and that all education has a real-world purpose. In the
future, I hope to move back to the east coast and pursue a career at a
high school teaching English and French.
