The next ACT testing date is scheduled for February 9, 2013. That doesn’t give high school students that are planning to take the exam much time to prepare. College Nannies and Tutors in Ann Arbor provides a variety of services to help students prepare for college admissions, including their entrance exams like the upcoming ACT test.
What Types of Services Does CNT Offer?
Students in Ann Arbor and the surrounding communities that are interested in pursuing a college education can seek preparation assistance from College Nannies and Tutors. Our specialty is one-on-one tutoring. This is a very different approach than other test prep courses, which are usually in a large group setting.
Because of our ability to provide one-on-one tutoring, their test preparation is individualized to fit their needs and improve their areas of weakness. We assess a student’s needs based on previous ACT or SAT scores or one of our free practice tests. After analyzing the scores, we develop a 4-10 week plan leading up to the actual test date.
Students work with the same tutor during their entire process. At CNT, we use paper-based, previously released ACT and SAT’s, in addition to a robust online program that is available 24/7 for additional support. In total, students that take advantage of our test prep tutoring will work with up to nine different ACT or SAT tests over the duration of their one-on-one tutoring sessions.
Not only that, but CNT offers College Admissions Coaching. With College Admissions Coaching, students can get additional help from their tutor with their profiles, admissions essays, or putting the finishing touches on next year’s applications.
Who Are Our Tutors?
Our tutors at College Nannies and Tutors are truly experts. They are current or recently graduated undergraduate and graduate students who have scored at or above the 95th percentile on their own test. Some of them are National Merit Scholars. Each tutor is reference-checked, background-screened and trained.
They have mastered content, approaches, tips and techniques to help high school students with their school work, test techniques and studying. These tutors are not only intelligent and great teachers, but they are also great role models. Our tutors coach students all year long and have the experience to support your student so that he or she walks into their college entrance exam prepared on test day.
When are the Upcoming Practice Tests?
The next ACT Test is scheduled for February 9th, and students that plan on taking that test should begin studying now. There are two ACT practice tests prior to this exam date.
Those interested in signing up for one of these practice tests can reserve a spot by calling (734) 761-8393.
Students that are signed up to take the February 9 ACT exam should sign up for the January 12 ACT practice exam and consider seeking additional preparation assistance from College Nannies and Tutors in Ann Arbor.
