Taylor is the Family Placement Coordinator at College Nannies + Tutors of Gilbert. She recently moved to Arizona from Las Vegas, where she was born and raised. Taylor attended the University of Arizona and is a proud Wildcat (but we don't hold that against her)! She has a Bachelor’s of Science in Family Studies & Human Development, with a minor in Child, Adult, & Family Services. Taylor has had a love for working with children since she started baby-sitting for her neighbors at a young age. After college she worked as a toddler teacher in a Montessori preschool and as a nanny before starting as the Coordinator at College Nannies + Tutors. Her favorite part about working with kids is when they are able to accomplish something they have been working so hard to do, whether it be learning their letter sounds or acing a math test! She loves helping people and making a difference in the lives of our families and nannies. When she isn’t interacting with families, nannies, and children Taylor enjoys watching her favorite TV shows, planning fun outings with friends, and playing board games!
Hey there! My name is Ashley and I currently go to school at the University of Arizona. My major is nursing and my minors are Family Studies and Human Development and Marketing. My goal is to become a pediatric nurse practitioner because I love helping children. I am a huge Wildcats fan and enjoy going to all the sports events, especially basketball! I am in a few clubs/organizations including student government and a nursing club. I love reading, cooking, hanging out with friends and watching movies. I am a very open person, and I love to try new things!
I was born in Toronto, Ontario during the hottest month of one of the hottest summers of the '90s. Growing up, we moved around a lot, living in 6 different houses before I turned 11. We finally settled in Anchorage, Alaska where I have lived with my parents and older sister for the better part of 9 years. While in Alaska, I discovered my passion for music, starting with school choirs and leading worship in the children's and youth ministries. I then decided to try my hand in musical theatre in high school, in which I thrived. For 3 years, I was classically trained in voice, and I competed in may high school vocal competitions all over the state. While involved in music, I also kept my grades up, graduating from high school with honors and earning a scholarship to attend Arizona State University. I continue to sing on the worship team at my church and the worship team for the campus ministry. I have always been involved in the church and I have been able to continue that pattern here in Arizona. My relationship with God is the biggest part of my life, and second to it is my relationship with my family.
My main goal, as of now, is to graduate from Arizona State with concurrent degrees in Social Work and Communication, and a minor in Family Studies. I then plan on enrolling in an online graduate program to get my Master's in Family Counseling, and traveling overseas to experience different cultures and potentially intern with an overseas nonprofit organization. Eventually, I want to work as a counselor in the foster care system, helping children, who have been removed from their families by CPS, cope with the change and upheaval in their lives.
I grew up in Southern California, and I moved to Arizona to further my education. I have earned my Associate of Arts degree in Elementary Education and I am currently enrolled at ASU in their Secondary Education teaching program. I plan on becoming a Math teacher at the high school or junior high level. I have past experience as a tutor both privately and for community colleges. I studied American Sign Language for three years and grew up speaking both English and Spanish. I have always excelled at Math and I enjoy helping others do the same.
I was born and raised in Gilbert, Arizona, and I grew up with two sisters and one brother. I graduated from ASU in 2011 with my Bachelors of Science in
Biological Sciences, concentrating in Animal Behavior and Physiology. I then began working in a cancer research lab in Scottsdale, testing for drug efficacy in many types of cell lines. After three years, I decided to go back to ASU to obtain my Masters in Social Work, concentrating in direct practice with children, youth, and families. I have a strong passion for helping others, especially children. In my spare time, I love to spend time with my adopted rescue dog named Arnold, play guitar with my dad, and create and decorate all types of desserts.
