As Owner and General Manager of College Nannies and Tutors I have the privilege of leading an amazing team of nannies and tutors who have been providing customized childcare and tutoring since 2014.

College Nannies and Tutors has been a fun and rewarding journey and I enjoy working with our families, nannies and tutors to provide role models and exceptional care and tutoring. It is extremely fulfilling to be able to help restore balance to busy families through our partnerships, and to provide opportunities to our team for personal and professional growth.

I am a University Of Nevada Las Vegas graduate as of May 2015, with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Marketing. I was born and raised in Reno, Nevada where my family currently resides. I moved to Las Vegas in the summer of 2013 to finish up my schooling and to pursue a marketing position. I began my position here at College Nannies + Sitters + Tutors in Summerlin, Nevada as a marketing intern, and while working as an intern I began to fall in love with what this company's mission and their value on education. Now, as Manager of Engagement, I oversee all of marketing and networking opportunities for our business to grow and become a larger part of our Summerlin, Las Vegas and Henderson community here in Nevada.

I am the Family Placement Manager at College Nannies and Tutors| Summerlin. I was born and raised in San Francisco and moved to Las Vegas in 2001. I have been blessed with a wonderful husband and a beautiful daughter. I love dogs and have two Boston Terriers named Sarah and Jiggs and a Pug named Edgar. A few of my favorite things are spending time with my family, going on walks with my dogs, exercising, and getting my daily dose of Starbucks. I have a long history of work experience -- much of which includes an extensive background in education. With my extensive background, I have found that education is the most rewarding for me.

The one thing I look forward to most about my job is meeting and working with the families to find that perfect fit/role model for their child(ren), whether they are looking for a nanny or a tutor, and ultimately establishing a long lasting relationship with the family. I believe strongly in our core values in helping families find their role model for their child (ren)’s happiness and academic success. The best part about working for CNT is seeing and feeling the energy of the families and kids. I truly have a passion for education and strong leadership. CNT has many areas to help a very busy family and I strongly believe that it is essential for every child to have a role model. As our mission statement perfectly says, we “build stronger families” by providing a role model based on the family’s needs.

Zoe
Zoe

My name is Zoe. I was born and raised in Dallas, Texas and just graduated from Brigham Young University in Utah with an English degree. I recently got married and moved to Las Vegas with my husband and am excited for this next step in our lives! We both have hopes of going to graduate school in the fall and are enjoying that application process. Until that starts, I would love to spend my time nannying. I am one of 9 kids and grew up with little brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews all around me. I started babysitting when I was 12 and have nannied during school years and summers since I was 16. I love being a nanny because I get to spend my entire day with children learning new things. At College Nannies and Tutors, the learning aspect is especially emphasized, which I think is really important. I love working with people and building new relationships through conversation, play, and educational activities. Active families with multiple children are so fun to work with because they remind me of my own family. Some of my favorite things include playing sports, musical instruments, and using our creative minds to build and create new things. I am different than other nannies because I am organized and always have a plan. Of course, that plan can be flexible according to the wants and needs of each family, but I am always prepared with new games and activities to do during our time together. Being a nanny is much more rewarding than other jobs because I get to build relationships with amazing families and make an impact in people’s lives. I love that I get to be part of such an amazing experience.

Brooke
Brooke

My name is Brooke and I grew up in Pennsylvania and just recently moved to Las Vegas May of 2015.

I have been babysitting for 6 years. Growing up, I had two younger brothers so I helped my mom take care of them and when I was old enough I eventually cared for them on my own occasionally. I also babysat for a few families over the course of 5 years. Currently, I have several families I babysit for occasionally and I am a full time nanny for a family Monday through Friday.

I wanted to become a nanny because I love being around and interacting with children. They have such creative ways and interesting things to say at all times.

The most rewarding part of my job is seeing the children having fun and learning new things. I love teaching them little things such as manners, riding a bike, or the alphabet. The littlest things can make the biggest difference.

A typical day at work for me would be me arriving at their home in the early morning. I make the children breakfast and I get them dressed and ready if they weren't already. I like to take the children to the park, to play in their backyard..

I enjoy working with families who like to be active and have fun. I also enjoy when the families are very sociable and interactive. I also like families who are open to new ideas such as new activities.

My favorite activities to do are to be outdoors, play games, play board games. I like going to parks, water playgrounds, going on walks, or just simply playing outside with the kids.

I am different from other nannies and babysitters because I don't just watch the children, I actually interact with them and have fun.
