Hi, I'm Debbie the Role Model Coordinator.
I enjoy working with the Nannies and making sure they get staffed with the right family and that it's a good fit for them and the family.
I was born and raised in Northern Baltimore County, Maryland. I graduated high school and took business courses while working as a Assistant manager at a bank institution. My last job was working in the finance department (payroll) with the Maryland State Police at their Headquarters.
Then I moved to Northern Virginia with my husband of 1 year!
During my free time I enjoy hanging with family and friends, watching sports with my husband and going to his nephew's college football games at Shepherd University on Saturdays! I LOVE cooking and entertaining whether it be in summer or winter. And last but not least I LOVE snuggling with my Husband and my cat "Rayven".
My name is Magda and I am the Role Model Manager with the College Nannies, Sitters + Tutors, Port Washington, NY. When I was 15, I moved to the United States from my home country of Poland. Prior to joining CNS+T, I was a babysitter for five years and completed a year long internship at Riverhead Country Day School. I have earned a degree in Early Childhood Education from Suffolk Community College, and a degree in Business Administration and Marketing from SUNY Old Westbury. Over the years, I have enjoyed working and helping children and young adults, and continue to do that in my current role. I strongly believe that every parent deserves to have a caring, well trained professional to help with their childcare needs and goals. I hope to become a Role Model for our ever growing team of nannies, sitters and tutors, and support their personal growth and professional development. I commit to providing families with personalized professional assistance and become a source of help for others.
Some of our Nannies
I have been working with children ever since. I used to babysit for neighbors/family friends in high school, then in college I babysat part time for local families. While pursuing an Undergraduate Degree in Social Work my
internships were working with middle school students. After graduation I worked as a clinician providing in-home guidance to families with at risk children. I later worked as a crisis counselor, therapeutic day treatment counselor, and behavior counselor at two different high/middle schools for at risk youth and also taught special education for a year for children with learning disabilities. I really enjoy the time I get to work with children and guide their lives in a positive direction.
Being a good role model means to stand up for good morals and values. I am aware that no one is perfect and everyone makes mistakes but with that being said, one should take those mistakes and learn from them and not make the same mistake twice.
Ever since I turned 16, I've been taking care of children in my neighborhood. It is through this that I developed a strong respect for others, and ensuring I am very honest, sincere, and loyal.
In my spare time I love playing volleyball and love to read. I have 4 siblings and each have a special place in my heart! Without them I wouldn't be the person I am today.
Some of our Tutors
Hello Families, I'm Cynthia!
I am a good role model because my actions demonstrate caring. I feel that, even when I am implementing discipline, children should feel loved and comforted.
I have had extensive experience with babysitting on weekends and on weekdays. I have also had experience working in group childcare and experience working as a residential summer camp counselor.
Hello Families, I'm Hannah!
I feel I am a good role model because I am responsible and help teach children good habits. I know how to have fun but I also know when it is time to buckle down and be serious. I always believe in striving for your best and encourage others to do so as well.
I have 4 younger siblings, the youngest is 14 years younger than I am. I babysat regularly for families within my neighborhood and was a permanent child care provider within my church organization.
