Meet our Team serving WNY
Having grown up in WNY, I am so excited to be a part of the resurgence of the Buffalo region with you. It is an honor for me as Managing Director, to be leading and collaborating with role models who are upbeat, ambitious and confident as they work toward our purpose of Building Stronger Families here in WNY. Our team strives to leave our community better every day. My experience in the counseling and human resource fields, supported by my education, a BA in Psychology from the University of Buffalo and a Master's Degree in Education from St Bonaventure University, all serve to help our team understand your needs and provide support to maintain health, strength and balance within your home. As a mother of two children ages 13 & 15, I too am experiencing many of the challenges and opportunities family life presents us with. Being a part of the College Nannies Sitters + Tutors experience is a wonderful opportunity for me to provide a reliable service for families and help make a difference for families in our community.
I am from a small town in Syracuse, NY. I've recently received my Bachelors Cognitive Science program at the University at Buffalo. I am the oldest of four kids in my family. I enjoyed playing soccer and basketball throughout high school and continued to stay active throughout college. I have been working with kids since I was in high school, first babysitting my siblings and then my job at the YMCA, and most recently working with children at the JCC in Amherst, Buffalo. I am excited to begin her CNT journey with the role of Role Model Coordinator!
Some of our Nannies
Hi my name is Melissa, and I am from Lancaster, N.Y. I graduated from Mount Mercy Academy in 2015, and I am currently going to Bryant and Stratton College. I just graduated with my Associates Degree in Criminal Justice and working my way towards earning my Bachelor's Degree. I previously worked at Edukids in Hamburg. I enjoy doing many different activities including softball, golfing, traveling, and being outside. I believe it is important to provide children with a fun, fulfilling, and enriched environment. I am a very enthusiastic and responsible young lady and I look forward to meeting you and your children!
My name is Natalie Lizarazo and I am currently a junior at Canisius College. I am majoring in biology and plan on attending medical school in order to become a Neonatal Physician. Growing up in a tremendously large hispanic family, I have developed enormous love and admiration for children, resulting in my desire to help change their lives for the better.
Some of our Tutors
Elizabeth is a Buffalo State graduate, earning her bachelor's in elementary education and her master's in literacy. She has had two years of experience teaching students as a certified teacher, working as a day-to-day substitute, a building-based substitute and three long-term placements, one in 4th grade, one in 2nd grade, and currently as an AIS teacher for 4th and 5th grade. Elizabeth greatly enjoys having the opportunity to build connections with the students as she teaches them new concepts every day, watching them grow. In her spare time, Elizabeth enjoys reading, spending time with her family and being outdoors.
I graduated from Union College with a Bachelors Degree in Economics. My interests include sports, fitness, and exploring the outdoors. I wanted to become a tutor so that I could help kids who struggle with school work. Being one of those kids at a younger age, I wish I would have had someone that I could connect with outside of a teacher or parent.
