Raised in Richmond, Vicki received her bachelor degree and MBA from Virginia Commonwealth University. After spending a couple decades in the corporate IT world, she has found the greatest satisfaction in her small business ownership and helping local families in her community. She opened College Nannies & Tutors in early 2008 and enjoys the interaction with so many people, the kids, the parents, the nannies, the tutors and so many new networking opportunities found in running a business.

Some of our Nannies
Hello, my name is Brittney Crawford I am 21 years old. I was born in Buffalo, New York but I have grown up in Florida since I was three. I am currently studying at St. Petersburg College, to get my bachelors in marketing next year. Some fun facts about me are I was a ballerina for 13 years. I also enjoy yoga, reading books, and painting or drawing in my free time.
I was born in Fort Lauderdale Florida, but I moved around a lot. I have over 30 moves under my belt since I was born. I am an only child and the oldest grand baby so I was doted on like all children should be. My mother was a single mother for most of my life. In my adolescent years I had a step father who was a great dad but not a compatible match to my mother. I’ve been an ambitious student and was received by an academic high school. My mother says it made me grow up too quickly since I lived in a dorm and had to learn to balance a checkbook. I graduated and went to University of New Orleans until my mother was diagnosed with epilepsy and I came home to take care of her. When her condition was under control I went back to college but left when I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do with the rest of my life. I spent two years finding myself and was grateful for the ability to watch after a beautiful 4 year old boy as a live in nanny. The family has moved over seas suddenly, I didn’t want to go with them. This left me with an opportunity to go back and become a registered nurse. I’d love to work in pediatrics and eventually be a midwife. I adore children and hope that once I finish my degree I can teach English as a second language over seas. The spot I would prefer would be Japan or Germany because I already have taken some foreign language classes that could be used there. The peace corp would also not be a bad future and would be a humbling experience to do good in the world.
Some of our Tutors
I previously have volunteered for Suncoast Hospice, Empath Health. Before that, I volunteered at my younger sister's martial arts school as an assistant instructor to the younger children. I graduated high school in the top 10% of my class and I am currently enrolled in college, with a 4.0 record.
College Nannies, Sitters and Tutors of Palm Harbor has been Building Stronger Families® in Palm Harbor and surrounding communities since 2016. Locally owned and operated, we are part of your community, here to serve your family.
At College Nannies, Sitters and Tutors, we want children and families to work with a nanny they are comfortable with. This is someone the children are excited to see, someone who can help the family reach their goals, someone the children can look up to, someone parents want their children to model and someone who can have fun!
When it comes to our tutors, we want to offer students the opportunity to build their success in school; whether that be by improving already good grades, helping students supplement classroom learning or prepare students for college entrance exams. We also want to be able to help provide children with role models they can look up to and have fun with!
Whether your family needs the quality care that comes from one of our Role Model Nannies or the one-on-one attention from one of our College Tutors, we are committed to helping you build a stronger family. Please call today to schedule a personal family consultation.
