I am a graduate from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Child Psychology. I began my career as the administrator of an early childhood learning center and worked to provide quality child care and education to children. I truly enjoyed being an important part of their lives every day, along with being a mentor and leader to my team of teachers. After many years I decided it was time for a change and went on an adventure with Disney Cruise Line as their Manager of Youth Activities. I led a large team of Youth Counselors from around the world as we provided the Disney experience to kids and traveled the globe. I have been working with College Nannies, Sitters and Tutors since November of 2013. I am passionate about helping families find their optimal childcare or tutoring solution and seeing the great impact it has. I'm often out in the community talking to people about CNS+T and spreading the word about this wonderful company. I look forward to doing my part in helping to build stronger families in the St. Paul area.
Hi, I am the Learning Resource Coordinator! I am a cum laude graduate from Southwest Minnesota State University with a bachelor's degree in Sociology. Prior to joining this great team, I was an administrative assistant at my Alma Mater in the career services department. During this time I was also a tutor for an Access Opportunity Success office and a subject tutor for one of my professors.I lived in Europe for most of my childhood and adolescence. This sparked my interest in meeting new people and trying new things. I'm very passionate about positive relationship building, organization, and education. In life, we never stop learning! The satisfaction of knowing that I made a efficacious impact in someone's life means everything to me.

My name is Julia and I am the Role Model Manager. I am a graduate of Metropolitan State University with a bachelor's degree in Finance but have a true passion for meeting people where they are at and encouraging success. Prior to joining the team at College Nannies, Sitters, and Tutors, I worked for the YMCA of the Greater Twin Cities in the Aquatics department for 8 years. During my time there, I developed youth, strengthened the community, and mentored a team of all ages. I love working with Role Models and helping them thrive and grow.
My name is Melanie and I am the Family Placement Manager. I am a graduate of Southwest Minnesota State University with a degree in Theatre Arts. I also have my Early Childhood Education Certificate from Minneapolis Community and Technical College. I taught in the classroom for nearly 8 years before taking on an administrator role of an early learning center. I managed and lead a team of 28 staff and teachers in an effort to provide high-quality, early childhood education, to the South Minneapolis Community. My favorite part about working in the childcare/education field is creating strong relationships with families. I am looking forward to using my talents to help build stronger families in the St.Paul community.
Some of our Nannies
I've been doing childcare for 5 years. I've worked with children from ages 2 months to 5 years. Trained in duties such as changing diapers, preparing food preparing lesson plans, and keeping children's area sanitary and safe. Working with children is very rewarding and fun, especially teaching, for I find I learn as much from the children as they do from me.
In my free time I make children's books and love reading and researching for the creative process. One of my favorite activities is reading to kids and passing on my love for stories and fairy tales.
My name is Hannah Carlson and I am nanny here at College Nannies, Sitters & Tutors. I have had experience working with many different children in all types of backgrounds and situations. Such as, babysitting, working camps and volunteering with children at Special Olympics. I am currently a sophomore in college, attending Concordia St. Paul, pursuing an Exercise Science degree to be a Pediatric Occupational Therapist.
I absolutely love working with kids as they are our future and I believe it is beneficial to interact with and learn more about them.
Some of our Tutors
Hi, my name is Allen Majd, and I am a tutor for College Nannies, Sitters and Tutors. My goal in life is to learn everything about anything. An unachievable goal but that is not going to stop me from trying. Also, I am a people person, so I like talking to others and getting to know them. Tutoring is a joy of mine because I can help others achieve their academic goals, and I believe a more educated society means a better life for all.
I was born in Toledo, Ohio, attended undergraduate college near Cleveland, Ohio, and moved to Minneapolis to attend law school. I loved it here so much that I stayed! I come from a large family of teachers, and I've been tutoring and teaching for more than a decade, off and on. In addition, I've also helped run a couple of music festivals, sold plumbing supplies, and filed papers for the government, so I've done a little bit of everything. In my spare time I read a lot, walk my 70-lb lab mix named Freddy, and bake cookies and pies.
