Kids have always been a passion of mine and I believe I have a natural connection around them. My mom has been an elementary school teacher for my entire life, and I have recently became a teacher myself at a local Chinese school. I also love art, baking, makeup, and photography. I'm looking forward to meeting new families and making great connections with many more adorable kids!
Hello! Im currently a student studying Child and Adolescent Development and Special Education at San Jose State University. This means that I'm living in San Jose during the school year and then I go home to Concord during school breaks. My goal is to become a teacher who works with children who have disabilities. My passion for teaching started in high school when I was a teachers assistant and helped teach my peers who had disabilities. Since I want to be a teacher I love every opportunity I get to teach and inspire the children that I'm around! When i'm not working or at school you can find me walking my dog or playing the piano!
As a recent graduate from UCSC, I am working on dedicating my career to ocean conservation and awareness. From a young age I have had a fascination with the ocean and now am pursuing that interest. I majored in Marine Biology and am now participating in an internship at the Seymour Marine Discovery Center. Tutoring is helping me connect with people and become an outstanding educator. When I am not working I enjoy bike riding, running, sailing, camping and anything outdoors!
I am a second year masters student at Stanford studying financial analytics through the Industrial Engineering/Operations Research department. I work on studying and applying statistical models to financial data.
I was raised in Oakland, CA. I did my undergraduate degree at UC Berkeley in Political Economy. During that time, I took coursework in history and languages and also lived in Beijing for a year.
I enjoy helping students in a variety of subjects, especially math.
