My name is Shey Parraz, I'm 25 years old, and have lived in the DMV area for the last 2 years. I went to Baylor University in Texas and have a degree in Biology, and moved up here just after graduation. I've worked with CNT since first moving here and am glad to have the opportunity to do something that is meaningful.
I am driven, patient and kind at all times. I work hard at school and I strive to be the best person I can be every day. I am the first person in my family to go to a four-year college, and I have big hopes for the future. Patience and kindness are necessary to work with kids, for I think that every day is a chance to learn something knew.
I've worked with children almost my entire life; I am pursuing a degree in audiology and I plan to work with kids who have autism when I get older. This summer I am interning with FCPS in a preschool classroom. I've nannied and babysat kids of all different ages, though my favorite ages are anywhere from preschool to elementary school.
Hello Families, I'm Hannah!
I feel I am a good role model because I am responsible and help teach children good habits. I know how to have fun but I also know when it is time to buckle down and be serious. I always believe in striving for your best and encourage others to do so as well.
I have 4 younger siblings, the youngest is 14 years younger than I am. I babysat regularly for families within my neighborhood and was a permanent child care provider within my church organization.
I have found excuses to work with children all of my life! I am currently a Kindergarten teacher and entrusted with molding our young minds for three years now. Children are amazing and I think I work hard to make sure that socially and academically these young children are ready for the world. I think I understand children, have patience, and truly, absolutely love them and think they are amazing.
