Alan

My family is extremely important to me. My wife, Eileen, and my two daughters make life exciting and busy. I want the best for them. Let's face it, we all want the best for our families. That's why I became an owner of College Nannies & Tutors in the summer of 2009 - serving the North Shore and surrounding communities. Over the last 15 years, I have held marketing executive positions and my wife has been an elementary teacher in the Mequon/Thiensville School District for over 10 years. Together, we felt our experiences professionally and personally made an excellent combination and fit to help other families "Build a Stonger Family". We recognize busy families need childcare and educational support. We can provide this support through effective role model matching.

My family currently resides in Mequon, Wisconsin.

Joy

Two words describe Joy has a nanny - compassionate and reliable. In addition to her nanny position, Joy is the Children's Ministry Director at Christ's Church, Mequon. And prior to that, she was Line Therapist, Team Leader at PACE Autism Services. Her experience working with special needs children has provided her the patience and effectiveness working as a College Nanny.

When asked about Joy's compassion, her supervisor at PACE Autism Services replied "Joy was always looking for different needs of the children to help them. You could tell she felt that when she was here. She wanted to make more of a difference with that child."

Joy graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a double major in Psychology and Music.

We are extremely pleased to have Joy on the College Nannies staff.

Rachael
Rachael

Rachael has great balance with her students. She keeps to the learning plan at hand and understands what objectives needs to be met. And she cares about her pupils and wants to know about their day, their sporting event, their interests. This makes for a great connection between her and her students. She is admired and respected by the kids.

After graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a double major in German and History, Rachael is pursuing a Teaching Certification for grades 1-8.

During her time working for the SPARK Program (an early literacy program), Rachael made a significant impression on the staff and especially her supervisor ...
"Rachael did many things well. Extremely organized – not only with the materials but also holistically interested in child. Very good interpersonal communications. Went above the call of duty. Spread sheets prepared to chart children’s improvements – assessments, base line, how quickly they advanced. She added anecdotal information. She worked well with other teachers."
