Hi, my name is Catherine and I am the Nanny Program Coordinator at College Nannies + Tutors of Summit, NJ. I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Connecticut in Sociology and Human Development and Family Studies. While in college, I worked at a day care both in the classroom and in the office and was involved in numerous leadership positions on campus. Today, I am fortunate enough to pair together my childcare experience and leadership skills to do the same for College Nannies + Tutors. I work behind the scenes in the office and as a nanny for some of our wonderful families. I truly believe in the mission of Building Stronger Families® and am currently pursuing my master's degree in School Counseling at Montclair State University.

My Story: I began working with children about 6 years ago. I started by taking care of my younger cousins, then family friends, and eventually began working with children from various areas near my town. I have experience with newborns to teenagers. I love working with children because it gives me a sense of pride in helping them grow, while providing them with safe, fun, and loving care.

I am a sophomore music performance major and communications minor at High Point University in North Carolina. I am the youngest of 4 children in my family and my eldest sister has two children that I absolutely adore. I love taking care of people and I love kids! I especially love exposing kids to new opportunities to learn in a way that is fun and exciting to them. I have a history with children with learning disabilities and I had one myself as a child, so I understand the importance of making learning engaging and making it make sense to kids so that they can recall it later in life. I like helping kids get to know the world of academia in a fun way, but I also love to run around or go to the park with them. Playing is just as important as learning!
