Hello, my name is Alison and I am the General Manager at College Nannies + Tutors in Summit Livingston, Basking Ridge & Morris Plains, NJ. I received my Undergraduate degree from Muhlenberg College in Business Administration concentrating on Marketing & Finance, and my Masters degree in Media Studies from The New School. For the past ten years, I worked in New York City in the Media industry within various financial roles.
Hi, my name is Catherine and I am the Nanny Program Coordinator at College Nannies + Tutors of Summit, NJ. I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Connecticut in Sociology and Human Development and Family Studies. While in college, I worked at a day care both in the classroom and in the office and was involved in numerous leadership positions on campus. Today, I am fortunate enough to pair together my childcare experience and leadership skills to do the same for College Nannies + Tutors. I work behind the scenes in the office and as a nanny for some of our wonderful families. I truly believe in the mission of Building Stronger Families® and am currently pursuing my master's degree in School Counseling at Montclair State University.
I have many young cousins in my close family and as the youngest of three girls, I have been assigned the task of taking care of them and making sure they don't get into trouble at our frequent family get togethers. I play two sports, soccer and ice hockey, and I am a very fun and trustworthy person. Playing two sports has given me an appreciation for being active as a kid and pushes me to spend more time outside and having fun with the children I babysit. I have had many animals including dogs, cats, fish and bunnies and have taken care of my neighbors dogs on multiple occasions for many years so having any pets is never an issue.

My Story: I have eight years of experience working with and caring for children. I always enjoy working with children because they are so adventurous and outgoing. Working with children makes me reminisce of times when I was young, so it always brings a big smile to my face. Spending time around children makes me feel like a child again at heart, so working with them comes easy to me, and it is always a pleasure to do so.
Currently, I am teaching 7th Grade Biology in Chester, NJ. For my undergraduate degree, I pursued History and Secondary Education. I graduated from Whippany Park High School, County College of Morris, and New Jersey City University with the honors of Magna Cum Laude and continued my education by completing three more certifications in Middle School Math, Science, and Language Arts. For my Master's I am working toward a degree in Instructional Technology at Fairleigh Dickinson University. Outside of school, I coach a club softball team. Additionally, I enjoy hiking and reading and playing softball and soccer in my spare time.
I am a mechanical engineering student at McGill University with a passion for academics. I love skiing, playing hockey and being part of a team whether on the ice or in the classroom. I look forward to helping others enjoy and excel in their studies whether it's algebra, physics or preparing for the SAT.
