Welcome, I am Raquel. I am a bilingual mother of three grown children and a grandmother to three sweet grandchildren.I too once searched someone true & genuine to look after and maintain the foundation in my scared home. I know how important it is to have someone with good qualities: responsible, reliable & amorous. I dedicated the last six years to giving back the gentle care I received when I needed it .I began to mother children from newborns to toddlers and also have gained much experience with ages 6-11. It has been a true joy to be in the presence of children. I enjoy and partake in all the activities that reside in a daily routine. It's my pleasure to keep tummies healthy and happy . I am a very positive person, creating a warm atmosphere around my children. I'd love an opportunity to continue to aid in helping families as much as possible to simplify and improve the child's lifestyle.
I am a student at Columbia College Chicago. I am majoring in Comedy Writing and Performance and minoring in Arts in Healthcare (the foundations of Art Therapy). I recently graduated from Loyola University with two degrees in History and Secondary Education. At Loyola University, I took rigorous courses in education and history, and gained considerable teaching experience from interning at middle schools and high schools in Chicago and Evanston. During the Fall semester, I student taught a diverse range of students at CICS Northtown High School. Since that time, I have become ever more passionate about education and the road to success. I have much experience tutoring. I pride myself in believing that every child and student, no matter his or her background, has strengths, unique abilities, and talents. Thus, it is my goal as a tutor and an educator to help students draw out and apply their strengths while assisting them in areas which are in need of improvement so that they can use their divergent and critical thinking to solve problems, become inspired, and have a strong sense of self-belief.
