Hi, my name is Sue, and I'm the owner and managing director of College Nannies & Tutors of Princeton. Before I opened the Princeton office of College Nannies & Tutors, I worked in various industries: banking, insurance, pharmaceutical, educational assessments, and consulting. While working for these businesses, I performed a variety of roles. I’ve been an individual contributor as well as an executive director managing a staff of over a hundred people with budgets of $90 million. A little more than a year ago, I realized what I enjoyed most was the start up and creation of new departments and working in smaller, more intimate environments. I also wanted to do more to help busy families and at the same time stay involved in some way with education. College Nannies & Tutors has allowed me to do both – the perfect match. And that is what I want to do for all the families that use our services – find the perfect match for them whether it’s a nanny or a tutor - so that their childcare and education needs can be taken care of in the best way possible.
Hi! My name is Krystal, and I'm currently attending Penn State working towards a degree in Psychology. I'm a lead teacher at a daycare center working mostly with the younger children. I'm responsible for opening up the center each morning at 6:30 am and handing out assignments. I love working with children because of their playfulness, and it's fun doing arts and crafts, playing board games, or just being active outside. I look forward to working with you and your family!
Hi! My name is Olha, and I'm a student at Rider University working towards a degree in Biology. I have experience taking care of toddlers through teens. When I babysat I cooked, cleaned the house, did laundry, and taught other languages, but most important, I made sure the kids were safe and had a good time. I also volunteered while in high school for a program that worked with children who had developmental issues, such as ADD/ADHD. I am multi-lingual and speak English, Ukrainian, and Russian. I really enjoy working with children and always strive to be a good example.
Hello! My name is Jordan, and I am a full-time student at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. I am also an intern at the Millhill Child and Family Center. Being that I come from a rather large family and am the second oldest, I have provided childcare and leadership for my younger siblings since each of their births. In addition to my siblings, I have also provided childcare for non-family members and have experience with infants through teenagers. I also have experience with children who have Autism and ADD/ADHD.
I find it natural to connect with children, and I pride myself in the childcare I provide always taking into consideration the requests of the parents as well as those of the children. It is always my main objective to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for the child.
My name is Janice, and I'm an educator. I've been involved in childcare since I was a girl. My mother ran a childcare facility from our home for over 20 years. It was certified by the state and she kept many children over the years, including my two daughters. I helped out with whatever needed to be done such as preparing meals, cleaning up after snack and lunch, preparing the play area, playing with the children and changing diapers.
Born and raised in the Mercer County area, I graduated from Trenton High school and attended Hampton University in Hampton, Virginia. My major area of study was speech pathology and audiology. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree, I began working in the Trenton Public Schools as a Speech/Language specialist. I attended graduate school at New York University and during this period tutored several children and regularly babysat two siblings, an infant and toddler. After graduation with a Master's degree from NYU, I taught in the Montclair Public Schools in the area of special education. Twice nominated for a district award recognizing teaching excellence, I spent many years in this district until marriage and children led me back to Trenton. I have two daughters, aged 14 and 16, who attend Notre Dame High School. My husband and I have endeavored to provide a warm, loving and secure environment for our daughters.
Currently I am a speech/language specialist working with Pre-k through high school students in the Trenton public schools. I enjoy working with children of all ages and look forward to working as a nanny and a tutor.
