Franchise Owner

As Franchise Owner of Jovie, together with our great team, Laura has been providing customized childcare for families, events and corporate back-up care programs since November 2004. As a family business, she enjoys knowing her family is supporting other families. Her son and daughter have been recipients of terrific nannies during their toddler and school-aged years and now her daughter is one of the sitters on the Jovie Team! At Jovie, Laura enjoys working with our families to understand how we can serve their changing needs. She leads Jovie's management teams who recruit, match and train the caregivers to provide exceptional childcare. Laura enjoys meeting new families through these partnerships, and learns daily from the management staff, nannies and sitters.

Senior Manager Family Relations

Alyssa is our Family Relations Manager. Working with children during high school prompted Alyssa to work toward her BAS of Early Childhood and Special Education which she proudly received from University of Minnesota Duluth. She spent summers working as a summer nanny for many families and she is still connected with them today! Upon graduating she moved into the retail space where she worked as a manager for many years, honing her training, HR and supervisory skills. Alyssa combines her skills of Early Childhood development and education with her ability to train and lead to our team. When she is not connecting with families needing care, or checking in on our team of nannies and sitters, she enjoys reading, cooking and gardening. On the weekends you can find Alyssa spending time with her husband and blended family of 2 boys, 2 dogs and 2 cats, enjoying the outdoors or planning fun family game nights.

Director of Recruitment

Katie is the Director of Recruitment at Jovie. She works to manage full life-cycle recruiting processes for Jovie offices in Minnesota, Washington, and California. Originally from Wisconsin, Katie has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Viterbo University (LaCrosse, WI). She has 10+ years of hiring/managing experience and originally joined Jovie in 2018 as a Recruiter. Katie brings her excitement, commitment, and team-building drive to a fast-paced, multi-state team. Childcare has never been more in the spotlight and the changing landscape energizes Katie each day. Katie is a connecter. She loves to find fun-filled positions for our nannies and sitters while ensuring our families that they are receiving top-quality care. Recruitment Manager

Emilie is our Recruitment Manager at Jovie of Edina, Chanhassen, and Wayzata communities. She conducts interviews, hires candidates, and is always looking for new ways make connections within the community. She is goal-oriented and determined to develop lasting relationships. Emilie particularly enjoys being hands-on and visiting campuses for in-person recruitment. She has worked in childcare for a few years, so she understands candidates’ perspectives. She received her BS in Business from Crown College and is currently obtaining a Master’s in Organizational Leadership with an emphasis in Community Development. Emilie loves to travel, attend sports functions, and pursue photography in her free time.

Recruitment Coordinator

Juliah is our Recruiting Coordinator for the Minneapolis, Seattle, and San Diego areas. She manages sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates as well as completing reference checks for all locations. She enjoys providing a personable and organized experience for her candidates. Before working with Jovie, Juliah spent two years as a special education teacher at the elementary level. She is happy to continue supporting children and families in a whole new way with Jovie! Juliah enjoys reading, cooking, and spending lots of time with her dogs.

Recruitment Coordinator

Suzette assists as a Recruitment Coordinator in our Los Angeles, San Francisco, and San Diego markets. She loves connecting with people and helping them through the interviewing process. Suzette has studied Financial Management, Business Management, and has a culinary diploma as well. Baking is one of her passions. She also enjoys spending time with her family and friends and going on new adventures with her family.
